Apparatus Liberty Hose Company No. 2 has possessed 11 major pieces of firefighting apparatus since 1885. However, these are not the only apparatus in our company's history. Early company records mention responding to fires with a hose cart more than a year before we took delivery of our "first hose cart". Then records indicate, in 1911, we responded with "both" hose carts and the "ladder truck".    No  information is known about the early ladder truck or the hose carts other than the 1886 hose cart. They could have been acquired from the other fire companies in town after their dissolution. Listed below are the apparatus for which we have details.
