Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2138

Company 22 and EMS dispatched class one to 616 North Street in Lykens for a carbon monoxide alarm. Chiefs 22-2 and 22 responded to the scene. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Truck 22 with 3. On arrival, crews went interior with the CO monitor and took readings which were all 0. EMS examined the occupant while crews investigated the residence. They found a CO detector with a dead backup battery and replaced it. Command then placed the box in service.
