Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3542

Engine 22 dispatched class one to the intersection of Main and Arch streets in Lykens for a pickup truck towing a trailer that had a wheel catch fire. Lieutenant 22 as the DO responded to the scene and on arrival reported the tire fire was out and Engine 22 could reduce to a class three response. Engine 22 responded with 3 and Utility 22 with 2. On arrival the crew confirmed no fire and secured the scene and waited for PSP and a tow truck arrived. Once the trailer was towed away the intersection was re opened and the Company placed available.
