The home of Ralph Snyder was gutted by fire around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday <date>, 1974. Ralph , a volunteer firefighter, was not home at the time. He was on an ambulance call. The fire appeared to have started by gasoline fumes becoming ignited in the garage. Williamstown Fire Chief Fred Heimbaugh estimated the damage between $15,000 and $18,000. In addition to Williamstown, crews from Lykens and Reinerton assisted at the fire.
