At the block party this year (2009), we will be trying something new. We will be selling wings and french fries on Saturday afternoon, June 27th. The kitchen will open at 2 p.m. and we will sell wings until we run out of stock. Since this is new for us, we will only have a limited supply of wings on hand and we're not sure how they will sell. So, come early to avoid getting here after they're gone.

During the time the kitchen is open to serve wings, there will be music available. In addition to the kitchen, there may be a stand or two open, but the Block Party will not get under way until normal time - around 7 p.m. If this experiment is met with enthusiasm and there is a demand for the wings and the early start time, we will try to incorporate it into our normal blockparty event for future years.
