With Canteen 29 being out of service at the time of a structure fire in a trailer on Back Road in Jefferson Township, Michele Bisking loaded supplies from the Canteen into her personal vehicle and drove to the scene of the fire with her children and those of Chief 29, Bob Stout. The incident occurred on the morning of Monday, August 24, 2009. Michele is a firefighter with the Halifax Fire Department. She is seen here at a picnic table near the scene of the fire. Seated next to her is her daughter, Delaney Bisking. Across the table from them, from left to right are: Michele's son Devan Bisking, Jessica Stout, and Matthew Stout. Michele and the children handed out refreshments to the fire crews from Carsonville, Halifax, Fisherville, Elizabethville, Lykens, and Wiconisco.
