A tree fire was spotted at the Second Bridge on Glen Road just after midnight on the morning of August 13, 2009. Company 22 was dispatched and Engine 22 responded. A tree was found to have fallen onto some power lines where they crossed Rattling Creek just west of the bridge. The power lines were crackling as the contact with the tree produced brilliant points of various colored light, causing the limbs to burn. Debris from the burning tree fell into the creek and self-extinguished. The bright light from the contact with the wires can be seen to the right of this photo, as company 22 personnel wait for the arrival of PPL.
