Engine 22 was requested to relocate to Station 20 while Company 20 was on the scene of an apartment building fire in Halifax Borough. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six and stood by at Station 20 without incident until released by Chief 20.
2006
Vehicle Accident with inj, Glen Road (Box 22-2)

Engine 22 and Engine 23 were dispatched to Glen Road, in the area of the fish hatchery, for a reported one vehicle accident. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, followed by Engine 23. EMS from Medic 6 was first to arrive on scene and found that the vehicle had only pulled off the road and the occupant was not injured. The box was placed available.
2007
Accident with Entrapment, Glen Road (Box 22-2)

Engine 22, Engine 23, Rescue 21, and EMS were dispatched to an accident with entrapment on Glen Road, near the third bridge. Engine 22 responded and Chief 22 responded POV, followed shortly by Engine 23. One vehicle was found on its side in the middle of the roadway. There were two patients, one of whom was still inside the car. The vehicle was cribbed while patient care was initiated. Rescue 21 was placed in service prior its to arrival on the scene. The patient was removed from the vehicle to an awaiting ambulance and transported to a hospital. The roadway was cleared of the vehicle and debris and the crews went available.
2010
Odor of something burning, 15 South Second Street (Box 22-1)

Companies 22, 23, Engine 24, Engine 21-1, and Tower City Air lite 66-60 dispatched to the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street for a report of something burning in apartment 305. Chief 22 responded POV, and Chief 22-1 responded from his home across the alley from the building. Engine 22 responded with 5, and on arrival found a 4 story hi rise building for the elderly with nothing visible from the exterior. Chief 22-1 gained entry and went to apartment 305 and found no odor or anything burning. Command placed the box in service.
2015
Electrical Hazard, 636 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class three to 636 Main Street in Lykens for a wire down. Engine 22 responded with 6 and Truck 22 with 5. On arrival, the wire down was found to be the service line to the address at 641 Main Street, the scene of a fatal fire last year, and that it had been disconnected some time ago. Command requested PPL to come to the scene and take care of the wire, and placed the company in service.
2016
Medical Assist, 15 South 2nd Street (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
Company 22 dispatched class one to 15 South Second Street in Lykens to the Rattling Creek Apartments to assist EMS with forcible entry. Truck 22 went enroute with 7 and Chief 22 POV. On arrival, the crew used the knox key to gain entry to the patients apartment. The crew started patient care and shortly after that EMS arrived. The crew continued to assist EMS until released.
