Engine and Truck 22 responded to a smoke alarm sounding in a first floor apartment. The company arrived on scene to find a smoke alarm located in the kitchen of an empty first floor apartment sounding alarm. Investigation found that the smoke alarm was packed with plaster dust from recent dry wall work in the apartment, which caused it to malfunction. The company was placed available by Chief-22.
