Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #352

A first alarm assignment was dispatched to 464 Main Street in the Borough for a reported structure fire. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, along with Engine and Squad 23. Engine-22 arrived on scene, taking side one, having connected to the hydrant at Main and Pine Streets. Heavy smoke was pushing from the eaves of the building. The crew forced entry and also laddered the front of the building and vented the windows upstairs. Fire was confined to the room of origin, but smoke and heat damage were throughout the building. After extinguishment, the crew performed salvage and overhaul until released.
