Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3425

Company 22 dispatched on the 23-1 box at 314 Wiconisco street in Wiconisco Township for a structure fire. Engine 22 responded with 6 and on arrival at a 30 foot by 60 foot 2 story apartment over garage wood frame building, there was visible fire from division 2 side A at the gable window with heavy brown smoke pushing out of the eaves of sides B and D. The crew pulled a inch and three quarter hand line and advanced it to side A. After opening the garage doors up they went interior and knocked down visible fire. They continued with suppression activities for an extended period of time. Mutual aid companies were going in the C side on division 2 as well as crews from Millersburg and Pine Grove truck companies opened up the roof. Control was eventually marked and overhaul was performed until released by command.
