Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3322

PSP requested Company 22 be alerted to form a search party to assist them with a search for a 6 year old autistic boy. Crews formed at the station, and Company 23 was also dispatched to assist. Eventually Companies 27 and 24 were dispatched and sent crews and Engine Company 21 was put on standby. PSP requested the assistance of Lebanon 66 K9SAR team and had aviation put a helicopter in the air. The incident command system was initiated and a grid search pattern was set up for crews to use. EMS and rehab from 24 along with Schuylkill 66-01 were also on scene. At one point close to 125 people were involved in the search as well as several drones. At approximately 2:45 PM the boy was found. Command began releasing units and the box was eventually placed available.
