Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3289

Company 22 alerted for a report of wires burning in a tree at the corner of South 1st street and Market street in Lykens. Chief 22 responded POV and utility 22 went with 2 and one additional member came POV. On arrival the dispatch was confirmed, with a tree tightly wrapped around electrical wires that were burning. The PPL pole number was called in and the crew stood by until the fire went out and then went available.
