Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3245

Structure box dispatched class one on the 22-1 box to 405 South Second street for a structure fire, grease fire on the stove. Chief 22-1 went POV to the scene, Engine 22 went with 4 and Truck 22 with 4 and Utility 22 with 1. Engine 22 arrived side A/D at a 23 foot by 56 foot 2 and one half story duplex building. Truck 22 arrived on the A/B corner. Initial crews went interior and found the fire on the stove was out but there was a smoke condition on two floors. Command held the box to companies 22 and 23. Crew from Truck 22 and Rescue 23 took fans to the building and set up ventilation. A crew was sent interior on the other side of the duplex and found no problems. After venting the building Command placed the box available.
