Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3205

The structure box dispatched class one to 303 Market Street in Lykens for a reported structure fire. Chief 22 responded from his home across the street and reported a 2 story 24 foot by 49 foot multi family apartment building with nothing showing from sides A and D with the occupant of the apartment on the Market street side sitting out front. She reported her thermostat caught fire and she put it out and called 911. Investigation confirmed her report. Command held the box to Company 22 non emergency. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Utility 22 with 2. On arrival side A the crew used a thermal camera to confirm that there were no hot spots and removed the thermostat from the wall. After confirming there was no fire command placed the box available.
