Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #3024

Engine 22 dispatched class one on the third alarm to the 29-6 box at 113 Armstrong Street in Halifax Borough for multiple structures on fire. Engine 22 responded with 3 and on approach was advised to stage the rig in the Playtimers parking lot and send manpower forward. On arrival, the crew staged the rig and went to the scene which involved 4 row homes, 2 separate dwellings and a garage all fully involved. Initially the crew teamed up with a crew from Company 21 for fire suppression and then was re-assigned to supplement the Truck 20 crew where they assisted with truck work for the remainder of the time spent on scene. Approximately 20 companies on scene. The crew continued with suppression, overhaul and salvage until released by Command 29.
