Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2742

Engine 22 dispatched class one to 459 North Second Street in Lykens for a CO alarm sounding. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene. Engine 22 went enroute with 5 and 2 other members responded to the scene POV. On arrival side A of a 20 by 40 foot 2 and one half story single family dwelling nothing was evident from the exterior. The Engine crew packed up and went interior with the CO monitor to check levels, and found them all to be normal. Further investigation determined the detector to be faulty and command placed the box available.
