Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2641

Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to 300 Chestnut Street in Lykens Borough at the Alfa Laval Thermal Corporation plant for an automatic fire alarm. Engine 22 went enroute with 3 and was advised that the alarm was a pull station alarm at the rear overhead door, and that a plant supervisor called in to report that there was no fire. Chief 22-2 on board Engine 22 held the box to Engine 22 class three. On arrival, Command met with the plant supervisor while the Engine staged on side A. After clearing the alarm and contacting the plant manager, the box was placed in service.
