Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2635

The 22-1 structure box was dispatched class one for the address 564 Main Street in Lykens for a report of a fire on the second floor. Chief 22 went enroute and was advised that the caller could see flames from the house across the street from the second floor bedroom. Engine 22 went enroute with 5 and laid 5 inch into the scene from the hydrant on the square. Truck 22 responded by way of Pine Street with 7 and took the address and arrived on side A. Engines 23 and 24 and Rescues 21 and 27 along with Medic 6 also responded. Further investigation by command found that the caller was seeing the reflection of a screen saver in the second floor window. Command placed all mutual aid units in service. Company 22 was placed in service after all the 5 inch was repacked.
