Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2590

Companies 23, 24, 21 and 22 dispatched to a simulated aircraft down in the Kramer airfield at 908 Pottsville Street in Wiconisco Township. Engine 22 responded with 4 and on arrival staged the rig behind Tanker 23 and sent manpower forward to assist with triage of 4 patients on board a Chinook helicopter that had gone down in the field as part of a drill. The crews responsibility was to remove the patients on board while other teams checked for hazards and secured various systems on board the aircraft. After removal of all patients a critique was held by the military staff on scene. Command then placed the box in service.
