Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2498

Truck 22 dispatched class one to 266 Clarks Valley Road in Porter Township Schuylkill County for an apartment building fire. Truck 22 responded with 5 from Station 21 where they were attending a fire prevention event. Engine 22 responded from Station 22 with 6 along with Utility 22 with 4. The Truck entered the scene from 4th Street and took a position on the C side of a 2 story wood frame building with heavy smoke pushing out the upper floors. The boom went to the roof to ventilate while the rest of the Truck crew set ladders. Engine and Utility 22 accessed the scene from 10th Street and staged on the A/D side of the building and sent crews interior packed up to the second floor to assist with suppression. After setting ladders, a Truck crew went to the basement to secure utilities. Crews continued to assist on scene until released by command.
