Company 22 dispatched class three to 512 Market Street in Lykens for a fuel spill. Chief 22 responded to the scene, and Engine 22 responded with 5. On arrival, it was determined that there was no fuel spill, rather contractors had been working in the basement with a gas powered saw and carbon monoxide had leaked into the upper floors of the building, which contained 4 apartments. All occupants of the building were evacuated while CO readings were taken. Positive pressure ventilation was set up to air out the building. After all apartments returned to normal readings, the occupants were allowed back in the building and command placed the box available.
