At the request of the Lykens Police Department, Engine-22 was dispatched to assist in a rescue from the roof of the old school auditorium on North Street. While patroling in the area, the police observed several youths that appeared from the roof of the auditorium. Engine-22 responded with a crew of ten, and upon arrival, set up on side 1 and laddered the building. Two members examined the roof and found no one there. The company was released by command. It was later determined that the youths involved were standing in the crowd observing the company's activities on the scene, having self-extricated themselves from the roof prior to our arrival.
