Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2168

Company 22 and Rescue 23 dispatched class one to the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street in the Borough for an elevator rescue. Power was out in the Borough as a result of a snow storm, and the facility's emergency generator had failed. Engine 22 responded with 4 and Truck 22 with 3. On arrival, crew extricated one person from the elevator who was not injured. The Rescue and Truck were placed available and the Engine crew awaited the arrival of the building's maintenance crew who re-started their emergency generator, and then went available.
