Utility 22 dispatched class three to assist Company 23 with a tree down in the area of 624 Pottsville Street in Wiconisco Township. Utility 22 responded with 4 and Chief 22-1 POV to the scene. On arrival, the crew staged with Company 23 members until the arrival of PP&L. A very large tree had fallen across Maple Street just above the intersection with Pottsville Street, and pulled down several power, phone, and cable lines. After PP&L secured the scene, crews worked on cutting up the tree with chain saws and with the assistance of the Township back hoe, cleared the roadway, and then went available.
