At the request of EMS, Companies 22 and 23 dispatched to 801 Market Street in Lykens to assist with removing an extremely obese patient from his residence for transport to the hospital. Truck 22 responded with 7, Utility 22 with 2, Rescue 23 with 6, and Chiefs 22 and 23 POV to the scene. On arrival, crews assembled the necessary equipment needed to accomplish the transfer and got the patient from the house to the transport unit, and then went available.
