Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1893

Company 22 dispatched class three to 400 South Second Street in Lykens for a furnace problem. The owner had contacted Chief 22-1 by landline requesting assistance with a possible blocked chimney. Truck 22 responded class three with 6 and arrived on side A. Crews went to the basement and roof, and attempted to clear the blocked chimney using chimney chains and window weights without success. After advising the owner to get a professional chimney repair service in to rebuild the chimney, the Truck went available.
