Company 22 dispatched class one to 759 Main Street in Lykens Borough for an automatic fire alarm. Engine 22 responded with 4 and Truck 22 with 2, and Chief 22 POV from out of town. Engine 22 arrived on scene side A, and the crew could smell burned food from the outside. After gaining entry to the structure, they found the occupant in the dining room and a pan on fire on the kitchen stove. The elderly occupant was removed from the structure and the pan removed from the building. Truck 22 arrived on side A and the crew ventilated the smoke from the structure while EMS was requested to examine the occupant. Company 23's fire police were dispatched to assist with traffic control on Main Street. After venting the building and securing the stove, the occupant was allowed back into her home and the box was placed available.
