Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1875

Companies 22, 23, 24, 21, 66, and Schuylkill 66-60 dispatched on the 22-1 box to 656 South Street in Lykens for a porch on fire. Engine 22 responded with 3, Truck 22 with 5, and Engine 23 with 4. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and on arrival, canceled units from 21, 24, 66, and 66-60 and held the box to companies 22 and 23. Engine 23 arrived on side A and pulled one line and extinguished what was left burning after the next door neighbor, Medic Chief 6A, had knocked down most of the fire with a garden hose. Engine and Truck 22 and Rescue 23 arrived on scene and assisted with overhaul, until all units were released by command.
