Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1845

Engine 22 dispatched as next due Engine to a 24-3 box for a propane leak at 8635 Route 209 in Williams Township at Koppy's Propane. A propane truck pulled a gas feed line away from the fill station and a cloud of propane had formed over the area. This also caused a tractor trailer going past on Route 209 to drive into a ditch in front of the business. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Chiefs 22-1 and 22-2 POV to the scene. On arrival, the Engine was instructed by command to stage 500 feet from the scene and standby, blocking traffic. Company 24 monitored the gas and found it to have dissipated. Command 24 then released Engine 22 from the scene.
