Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1804

Companies 24, 23, Schuylkill 647, and Truck 22 dispatched to 296 Dayton Street in Williams Township for a reported structure fire. Initial report was wires burning on the exterior of the house. Engine 23 arrived on scene and reported a working structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 5, and on arrival, took side A. Crew laddered the front of the building and sent a crew to the roof and cut a vent hole while 23 crew members knocked down the bulk of the fire in the interior. Engine and Tanker 22 were eventually dispatched for units that had failed, but were replaced as there was no further crew available. Companies 21, 26, and Schuylkill 66-10 and 650 were on scene as well, along with EMS from 24. Crew assisted with extensive salvage and overhaul of the building until released by command.
