Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1737

Company 22 dispatched to 656 North Street in the Borough for a report of a carbon monoxide alarm activation. Chief 22-2 responded to the scene. Engine 22 responded with 6, and Truck 22 responded with 7. On arrival, apparatus staged on side A, and command sent a crew in with the CO monitor to take some readings. Readings taken in every room and all floors and basement of the residence showed 0. The CO alarm was checked and found to be defective. Occupants of the residence were advised to replace the CO alarm, and command placed the box in service.
