Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1726

Companies 19, 216, and Truck 22 dispatched to a structure fire at 3676 Back Road in Jefferson Township. Engine 19 arrived on scene and confirmed a well involved trailer fire, and requested the upgrade to the first alarm. This added Engine and Rescue 21, Engine 29-1, and a special call for Engine and Tanker 23 to the scene. Truck 22 responded with 5 and Chief 22-2 POV. The Truck arrived on scene to find a trailer with heavy smoke venting from the sides. Command gave the Truck crew the assignment of venting the roof, and a 8 x 8 hole was cut in the rear concrete addition to the trailer. After completing the cut, the crew assisted the other companies on scene with overhaul and pulling debris and metal siding from the trailer. Schuylkill Engine 650 (Muir) was relocated to Station 22, Perry Tanker 2 to Station 216, and Engine 37-1 (Susquehanna Township) and Lebanon Wagon 1 (Palmyra)to Station 29. Crew assisted until released by command.
