Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1694

Company 22 and Engine 23 were dispatched for a report of a propane odor in the vicinity of 424 North Street in Lykens. Lieutenant 22-1 on scene confirmed a slight odor. Chief 22 responded to the scene POV, and had Engine 23 hold in quarters. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, and Truck 22 responded with a crew of five. The Engine arrived at the address, and the crew split up and began searching around neighboring residences for the odor. Truck 22 set up in the 300-block of North Street and investigated in that area. The crews later continued the investigation at the west end of town. After a search with nothing found, Chief 22 placed the box in service.
