Engine-22 was dispatched to relocate to Station-21. Companies 29, 216, 21, 20, 26, and 38 were on the scene of a multiple row house fire in Halifax Borough, with numerous other companies from the surrounding areas being called up to assist. With only enough crew to staff one piece and no other truck companies available in the entire area, Chief 22-2 contacted the communication center and requested they send another engine and our crew would remain on standby in Station-22, being able to take either Engine-22 or Truck-22 if needed. Engine-23 was dispatched in Engine-22's place and they relocated to Station-21. Additional members soon arrived at the station and were able to fill out a crew for both apparatus. They remained on unofficial standby for the duration of the incident.
