Engine 22, Engine 23, and Squad 23 were dispatched for a report of an accident with injury at 767 Main Street in the Borough. Engine 22 responded under the command of Lieutenant 22-1 with a crew of six. All three Company 22 chiefs responded to the scene POV. Engine 23 responded and was canceled before arrival, after no entrapment was found. Engine 22 arrived on scene and found that one vehicle, which had been traveling West on Main Street, had crashed into the rear of a parked car in front of 767 Main Street and pushed the car about 25 feet down the street. The driver of the moving vehicle was still behind the wheel, with the air bag having deployed. EMS arrived on the scene and assumed patient care. Police arrived from Lykens and Wiconisco. The engine crew assisted with patient removal from the vehicle, and packaging for transport in a Medic 6 unit. After removal of the involved vehicles by a local towing service, the crew cleaned up the street and went available.
