Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #1072

At 10:46 AM on January 12, 2004, local fire companies were dispatched for a working structure fire at 514 Pottsville Street in Wiconisco. Engine-22 went responding at 10:52, noting that a smoke header at the scene was visable from Station-22. Engine-22 connected to a hydrant at the corner of D Alley and Pottsville Street and laid supply line into the scene. When Engine-22 arrived on scene they found a 2?-story house fully involved and fire spreading to the home on the west side. The engine crew pulled two lines and put the deck gun in-service. With mutal aid help arriving the fire was contained and under control. The engine crew performed search and rescue and assisted with salvage and overhaul. Engine-22 cleared the event at 2:25 PM.

Tanker-22 was also on the scene and supplied water to Tanker-24. Tanker-22 dumped two loads.
